About Me

Hello I’m currently a User Experience Designer at Ahancer, a small UI/UX agency in Thailand. I came to design from a finance background, having worked as an Investment Analyst for Bangkok Bank’s INNOHUB Fintech Accelerator. While for undergrad I dual majored in economics and psychology, where I enjoyed researching about how we think, feel, and act.

I was driven to UX because I felt like for the first time in my life I found a path where I could blend my passion for design, business, technology, and human behaviour.

Outside of Work

Strava app activity summary of me cycling for 11:40 hours and 276.37 kilometers

I love cycling.

You can often find me out exploring the countryside or pedaling away indoors. One recent accomplishment I am proud of was when my teammate and I cycled for 12 hours on Zwift, a virtual online cycling platform, to raise $8000 for the Thai Mirror Foundation's COVID pandemic relief efforts.

Accessibility is Freedom.

This year I've been learning a lot from the grassroots organization Accessibility is Freedom. In a country like Thailand where accessibility compliance is almost non-existent, I found Mr. Manit's work on raising awareness on how public spaces meant for everybody can still exclude so many to be deeply important.

I enjoy playing Axie Infinity.

What isn't there to love about a cute strategic card game where you can breed, collect, and battle? Much like how Pokemon Go introduced AR to the mainstream I think Axie, a NFT-based card game, is pioneering the play-to-earn business model. This kawaii yellow guy here is my beast :)

Five Fun Facts

1. My grandfather taught me the joy of creativity

I spent much of my early childhood with my grandfather who was an amazing artist. We would play a game of improv painting that involved me smearing acrylic paint with my hands and him turning it into something beautiful. I always admired his creativity and hope to bring a dash of it into whatever I do.

2. My bestfriend is a Ninja

I don’t remember doing this, but my best friend, Ninja (Thai people have very creative nicknames), told me that we first became friends in second grade when the teacher threw his spiral notebook in the trash, and I heroically jumped up and retrieved it back for him.

3. I caught the reading bug in Alaska

I hated reading up until my 11-year-old self stumbled upon a tattered first volume of Deltora Quest in a used book store in Anchorage. After returning back home, I excitedly finished the remaining seven books and I have been an avid reader ever since.

4. Say "freeze"

I've been told I smile a lot. This only became a problem when I went to high school in Massachusetts. During my first winter, I realized my teeth was really sensitive to the cold because I kept over-exposing them by smiling all the time!

5. I'm a big fan of Ready Player One

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline is currently the only book I have
re-read three times (I mean even Ultraman is in it!). Although quick bookworm update, I thought it would be hard for the Ready Player Two sequel to compete with the first novel but it did not disappoint.
